Reports to: Director of Marketing

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing brand and product strategies and creating marketing plans that drive breakthrough growth for our Premium Tabletop Segment. Leading a team of cross functional partners in execution of new product development and commercialization, packaging, retail programs, online and grassroots marketing initiatives. Maintain accountability for full P&L, including pricing, spending, and cost improvement. Must be a leader for the business and the organization, a passionate advocate of the consumer, and a result orientated change agent for the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliversales and profitability growth targets as the owner of product franchiseP&L

  • Develop and gainmanagement alignment to annual business plan – both marketing strategiesand financials.

  • Collaborate withcross-functional partners to deliver sales revenue growth targets and marginimprovement.

  • Maintain marketingbudget planning, management and delivery of goal.

  • Manage businessreporting, including monthly dashboards, business analysis and regularmanagement reviews.

  • Buildleadership product brands that consumers trust and embrace as their own, withstrong brand equities and differentiated product lines

  • With Marketing Servicesteam, develop brand equity vision, footprint and positioning, and drive intopackaging and marketing communications.

  • Pursue and obtainconsumer insights that provide competitive advantage via market researchactivities.

  • With Sales, developpromotion plans that increase retail merchandising and in-store excitement.

  • Create packagingsolutions that enhance consumer appeal, shelf presence, and sustainability.

  • Leadcreation of innovation that drives revenue and profitability growth, andenhances brand equity

  • Develop brand expansionvision and specific product development plans.

  • Leverage deep consumerand customer insights to generate new product concepts, meeting pipeline goals.

  • Drive new productconcepts through development and commercialization to exceed revenue goals.

  • Manage product mix andproduct lifecycles to deliver optimal financial returns.

  • Collaborate closelywith planning and supply chain to reduce costs and inefficiencies, improvingmargin.

  • Collaboratewith Sales and Trade Marketing organizations to achieve strong retail programsand customer satisfaction

  • Participate inforecasting and planning activities to ensure customer service and OTD goalsare met.

  • Partner with Operationsand Supply Chain to ensure appropriate inventory and shared alignment toobjectives.

  • Develop strong in-storeprograms, including shelf planograms and displays, to drive growth.

  • Develop promotions thatdeliver merchandising growth.

  • Coordinate with TradeMarketing in/out product offerings as appropriate for customer- specificpromotions.

  • Develop collateralmaterials, product samples, sell-in presentations to support Sales meetings andField.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree inMarketing or related discipline; MBA preferred

  • 3 – 5 years of priormarketing experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods industry

  • Experience withsyndicated data (IRI, Nielsen), category management tools, and shipment data

  • Comprehensive knowledgeof administrative and management functions such as planning, organizing,coordinating, directing and controlling

  • Experience working withconfidential material
